Alexisonfire begin work on new material

Canadian rockers Alexisonfire have informed fans that the band is currently writing new music, with the Ontario quintet promising a heavier sound.

Alexisonfire took to their Twitter page recently to make the announcement, writing the following:

"Wrote some new songs today. This shit's so heavy it's going to make dogs blood look like a ska record!!!"

Alexisonfire released EP 'Dog's Blood' late last year, with their most recent studio album 'Old Crows, Young Cardinals' coming back in 2009.
