Since 2005, For Today have clawed and scraped their way into the spotlight, paying their dues on the live circuit of the United States. Now, with dues paid, For Today are set to hit Australia this March and April for a run of shows that will see audiences floored by their self-acclaimed musical prowess. There is seldom a band whose passion and integrity are matched by their musical merit. For a band that is as forthcoming about their faith as they are about their musical prowess, For Today makes no secret of their religious leanings. Vocalist, Mattie Montgomery, sums up the band’s mission with the statement: “This has nothing to do with music an everything to do with our faith in Christ.” Music is merely a catalyst.

With a sound that melds the best of August Burns Red with raw technicality of Between the Buried and Me, these are most definitely shows that should not be missed. For Today will be touring on the back of their third album, 2010’s Breaker.

South-West Sydney’s For All Eternity are a band where you need to leave all expectations at the door when entering a venue where they are playing. This Christian metal/hardcore band is always doing their best to provide an energetic live performance and is bound to rise above all expectations. Touring nationally twice in 2010, captivating audiences with their brand of roof raising heaviness and smooth melodies, For All Eternity are one of the most rapidly growing, and outstandingly impressive acts Australia has to offer.

Whether a fan of Christian metalcore or an aficionado of well-played, technical metal, For Today should not be missed
