Mastodon to release live album

Mastodon will be releasing new live CD/DVD 'Live at the Aragon.' It will be released on March 14 through Relapse Records.

Legendary sludge metal stalwarts Mastodon have pulled the curtains off a new live CD and DVD that is to be released on March 14th. Entitled Live at the Aragon, the album was recorded on October 17th 2009 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. The set that night featured 2009 release Crack The Skye played in it's entirety along with a few additions from their back-catalogue and a cover of the Melvins' 1996 single The Bit.


Mastodon are currently working on their 5th studio album.
