Emery founding member goes on hiatus
Devin Shelton, lead vocalist and guitarist for South Carolina based post-hardcore outfit Emery has announced his indefinite hiatus from the band.Posting on Emery's Facebook page, Shelton said the decision was not taken lightly."Hey everyone, Devin here. I just wanted to let you all know that I am taking an indefinite hiatus from Emery. This has been a very tough decision for me, since Emery has been an important part of my life for over a decade. I'm not saying I will never do anything else with Emery, but things change and life goes on, no matter how much I will miss it. Thanks so much for all your support over the years and I hope everyone continues to follow Emery all the same."The remaining members wrote their own message, stating:"Josh, Dave, Matt, and Toby would like to thank Devin for being one of the greatest guys we have ever met.
