No Trigger is back in the saddle again gearing up for their long awaited sophomore record, their first in five years since the debut release of Canyoneer on Nitro Records. Starting in 2003, the Massachusetts band has gained recognition touring nationally and worldwide. From playing the basements and legion halls of New England to overseas tours with Set Your Goals, A Wilhelm Scream, and Strike Anywhere; No Trigger have seen it all and have recently re-enlisted all of the band's original members to put forth their newest material.

Despite break up rumors, No Trigger recently burst out of hiatus and released their "Be Honest" 7'' with Mightier Than Sword. Early 2011 also brings a headline tour to Australia in January, confirmation for GroezRock Festival Belgium in April, and now a Summer release with the No Sleep Records family.

No Trigger is a melodic punk/hardcore band formed in 2003, with a sound which takes cues from like-minded outfits such as Strike Anywhere and None More Black. The band self-released two demos, one of them a split with the band Wasteland. By this point the band had started to gain accolades from webzines like Pastepunk and Punknews, the latter of which referred to No Trigger as close to being "the best unsigned band in America."

In late 2004, the band compiled these recordings and remastered the sound for their debut release, Extinction in Stereo, released on independent record label Bigmouth Japan. Extinction received a significant amount of attention and praise from the punk rock press.

In 2005, No Trigger signed to independent record label Nitro Records, and their debut full-length, entitled Canyoneer, was released on March 21, 2006.

A long period of inactivity following Canyoneer lead to speculation that No Trigger had broken up. The band released an update in September 2010 which announced that the original lineup had reformed and were going to release Be Honest, a 7" EP on December 14th, 2010 and a brand new full length which they'll begin recording with producer Jay Maas in March 2011.
