The Get Up Kids have posted the first single from their forthcoming fifth studio album "There Are Rules" onto their myspace page. The song "Automatic" is the first single to be taken from the album, and is currently available in the form of a 7" that is limited to 1000 copies on the band's merch store, which also contains a previously unreleased track "Past is Past". The single is also available to purchase digitally through iTunes. "There Are Rules" is scheduled to be released on January 25, 2011, through the band's own Quality Hill Records label. The album is the band's first full-length release since their 2004 album "Guilt Show".
