City And Colour announce Australian Tour

Chugg Entertainment announces today that Canadian singer/songwriter, Dallas Green, will be making his highly anticipated return to Australian shores in April 2011 for his first headlining City And Colour tour. Best known as the singer/guitarist for the Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire, Green has never been one to have his name strewn across the front of an album cover. And so from here was spawned the play-on-words moniker of City (Dallas) And Colour (Green) - his acoustic/alternative/mellow rock side project.

Musically, Green's voice beams with honesty and heart-felt emotion which meld his deeply meaningful lyrics and rich melodies into a vessel of strength, whilst still displaying a raw and fragile vulnerability. The way in which he can articulate a feeling of love and life in a lyric, is framed beautifully by the surrounding indie-folk melodies. The song structures are simple, yet emotion filled.

As a live act, City And Colour's presence has been garnering praise and recognition the world over having just recently sold out London's Royal Albert Hall the day that tickets went on sale, as well as securing record-timed sell outs for shows across North America and Europe.
