Slipknot DJ announces solo record

Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson (#0/DJ Starscream) has announced that the writing, engineering and producing has all been wrapped up on a brand new solo record entitled "SID."

The record sees Wilson step away from the turntable and on to lead vocals where he will blend his diverse range of influences with the knowledge he has gained in his 12 years with Slipknot. Mixing was handled by Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot), and Tobias Lindell (Europe, Mustache) and was mastered by Chris Gehringer (Cee-Lo Green, Drake, Rihanna.)

The album is set for release sometime in the next month and will feature a song that was written for deceased Slipknot bass guitarist Paul Gray.
