Louisiana sludge metal gurus Crowbar have announced that they will be releasing their highly anticipated ninth studio album, "Sever The Wicked Hand", on February 8, 2011, through the band's new label E1 Music.

Louisiana sludge metal gurus Crowbar have announced that they will be releasing their highly anticipated ninth studio album, "Sever The Wicked Hand", on February 8, 2011, through the band's new label E1 Music.


The new album was produced by guitarist and vocalist Kirk Windstein, and mixed by Zeuss (Madball, Terror, Her Nightmare). Windstein has also stated in a recent interview that "this is probably the most important record of Crowbar's career."
