(HED)p.e announce Australian tour

With a career spanning more than a decade plus seven studio albums under their belt, US hardcore pioneers (HED)p.e are still moving at full speed. October saw the release of album number eight and arguably their best work yet, ‘Truth Rising’. Now the heavyweights have announced that they will be arriving on our shores in January to present ‘Truth Rising’ to their Australian fans.

The album showcases (HED)p.e in all their glory – a hybrid mix of metallic punkrock, hardcore and hip hop, and an underlying and unmistakably important politically message. "The [album’s] title is a statement about how in these days and times, more and more hidden knowledge is coming to the surface. People are becoming aware that for hundreds of years, certain truths have been hidden from the masses, either by the Church, or by certain institutions which do not want us to know these secrets,” explained lead singer, Jahred Gomes. “‘Truth Rising’ is our way of saying that nothing can stop the evolution of this planet and it’s inhabitants.” (Hed)p.e have become the voice for a movement that empowers youth and reveals the seedy underbelly of our current political affairs. With the release of ‘Truth Rising’, (Hed)p.e. are the air raid siren aimed at waking up youth across the globe, and we Australians are next on their list.

KillRockStar, Killyourstereo.com and Blunt Magazine bring (HED)p.e to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle and Perth in January/February. Tickets are on sale from Wednesday 1 December. ‘Truth Rising’ is out now.
