City and Colour to enter studio in 2011

Acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green aka City and Colour has announced that he will enter the studio early in the new year to record a third album. In addition, a new City and Colour song, 'At The Bird's Foot' will be part of a forthcoming compilation called "Gasoline Rainbows".

The release was written in response to the BP gulf oil spill, and will be released for digital download on November 30 through Roark Records. 100% of the proceeds will go to Global Green in their efforts to assist those affected by the spill. The compilation also features tracks by LCD Soundsystem, Phoenix and Silversun Pickups.

City and Colour's last album was 2008's "Bring Me Your Love", released via Dine Alone and Vagrant Records.
