"As a few of you saw on Saturday night, Our manager issued a bulletin from our myspace account explaining that our upcoming shows will be our last. This is sadly true.

We would personally like to thank everyone who has been on this journey with us, to Nish at Taperjean for his huge support, Cam Chambers at Destroy All Lines, our current manager Mitchell Stace, Shock Records, any band that we've had the privilege of touring with, our friends and families, and last of all our amazing fans, thank you so much, please stay tuned for our next endeavors.

For anyone in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, these shows will be your last chance to see/hear City Escape in your town. We would love you to attend and make this special for us."

The band's vocalist/guitarist Jarrod added:

"As a founding member of this band it's very sad to see something I worked on for the past 4 years come to an end, but I am overly excited with what the future holds. We as a band will NOT be going our separate ways, this is not the end, but only the beginning."

The band will be announcing a final Melbourne show soon, but fans in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide can catch the band at the following shows.

Thursday 11 November - Spectrum "HOT DAMN" - SYDNEY

Saturday 13 November - Rosies "THRILLER" - BRISBANE
