After a series of shows across Europe, the US and Japan in late 2010, New York’s most notorious live metal band Emmure will finally be making the long anticipated return down under for their first ever headline shows. Since their inception in 2003, Emmure have released one EP, three studio albums, and constantly toured the US and overseas garnering a legion of new fans with every show they play. Now, with the impending release of their fourth album, the band is back on the road and keen to demonstrate to Australian fans why they have already earned the support of an army of fans across the globe. Emmure will punish Australian audiences with their combination of blistering hardcore metal and an electric live performance. This tour will be Australia’s first chance to experience a headline performance by Emmure. There will be no better way to kick off 2011 than with the brutal, high-energy show that the band has to offer.

Joining Emmure on this brutal seven-date tour will be Sydney heavyweights Shinto Katana. Having toured with Shai Hulud earlier this year, Shinto Katana released their highly anticipated follow up to 2008 debut album ‘Cold Streets’ in July this year with ‘We Can’t Be Saved’.
