New Jersey punk rock outfit The Gaslight Anthem will release a 7" with an exclusive Rolling Stones cover.
The release will be released on November 26 to mark Record Store Day in the US, a date which aims to "celebrate the art of music". The A-side features a cover of The Rolling Stones‘ "Tumbling Dice", while the flip side features an original track "She Loves You" which was recorded during the "American Slang" recording sessions. The cover art is silk screened on a jacket that folds like an old shipping parcel and the release comes in four colors (baby blue, black, white and brown) with the vinyl matching the jacket color.
The band’s third studio album "American Slang" was released in June to great critical acclaim. It debuted at number 3 on the UK Charts and at 16 on the US Billboard 200, moving 27,000 copies in its first week of release.
The Gaslight Anthem will return to Australia in February next year on the national Soundwave Festival tour.
