San Francisco's heavy hardcore giants First Blood have confirmed a release date for their forthcoming CD.

The band will release its sophomore album "Silence Is Betrayal" on November 9 through Bullet Tooth. The new offering will provide another serve of First Blood's signature brutality, while maintaining its commitment to political themes and breaking the status quo. According to vocalist Carl Schwartz the new CD is a testament to those "who have spoken, sacrificed, and devoted so much to keep their messages of truth, justice, and resistance alive."
