Mark Hoppus updates the progress of the album via Twitter

Mark Hoppus of reunited pop punk giants Blink 182 has confirmed that the reunited band have entered the studio to begin work on their next album.


Hoppus updated: 'At the studio. Re-commencing the blink-182 album.....NOW!'


The eagerly awaited album will be the band's first since 2003's self titled effort, which preceded the break up.

No news as to where and if the band will tour overseas, although it seems doubtful given drummer Travis Barker's recent aircraft history.
