Finnish metal luminaries Children of Bodom have told fans to expect nothing less than “the perfect storm” for their upcoming seventh studio album. As reported by KYS, the band has entered Finland’s Petrax Studios with producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Monster Magnet, Hatebreed) to record their as-yet-untitled seventh studio album. The band described the album as “the perfect storm” via their myspace blog. “We’re very excited to let everyone hear what we’re creating with this new record. Everything you love about CHILDREN OF BODOM has been magnified tenfold and we’re pushing ourselves harder than ever before. Expect nothing less than “the perfect storm!” In other COB news, the band has contributed their track “If You Want Peace...Prepare for War” to the upcoming music video game Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.
