“Hard at work. Drums and bass for Digs Blood are done!” “And by ‘digs’ I mean 'dogs'."

The new EP has seemingly been in the works since last year, with vocalist George Pettit telling Metal Hammer the following about the EP when interviewed by the magazine last October. “(There's) Two really, really heavy songs, two atmospheric songs. I’ve started working on some lyrics…” he said.

Killyourstereo reported initial details of ‘Dogs Blood’ in March, writing, “The band's guitarist and vocalist Dallas Green discussed the new EP in a recent interview, and stated the EP was the result of a "really crazy riff".”

Alexisonfire will be here in October for a national tour.
