Greg Graffin of punk rock pioneers Bad Religion is set to release a new book to coincide with the band's upcoming album.
Entitled "Anarchy Evolution: Faith, Science and Bad Religion in a World Without God", the book has been co-authored by science journalist Steve Olson. It focuses upon Graffin's experiences both as the singer of legendary punk outfit Bad Religion and as an academic teaching evolutionary science at the University of California Los Angeles.

Reportedly it will also explore more abstract issues such as the fundamental connections between art, religion and science. According to Graffin, his study of science provided a framework through which to view his life during his teenage years when "drugs, sex, and trouble could be had on any given night".
"I've always had a problem with authority."
The book is available for pre-order at AnarchyEvolution.com before its release on September 28. It is also available for purchase bundled with Bad Religion's "The Dissent of Man" on the band's official webstore here.
