Soulfly lose bassist

Thrash metal kings Soulfly have parted ways with their bassist Bobby Burns after seven years with the band.

Burns updated his twitter profile with the message, "To all the fans... Soulfly and I have decided to part ways. Stay tuned for my next projects already in the works. Thanks 4 ur support!!!"

He has played with Max Cavalera's band for four of their albums including 2010's "Omen" which debuted at 73 on the 200 Billboard Chart in the US. In addition to his role in Soulfly, Burns fronts the rap rock band Primer 55.
