“Writing songs for a new album all summer long and planning some fall touring to wrap up ‘The March’ touring cycle. Stay tuned for details.”

Unearth were recent visitors to Australia touring alongside fellow US metal act The Black Dahlia Murder last month. Speaking to Killyourstereo in May, Unearth vocalist Trevor Phipps observed initial details of the yet-to-be-recorded album.

“We are getting our heads around getting ideas on the table. The guitar players are starting their riff writing process and I have been jotting down lyrical ideas for the past few months. Every little bit of inspiration over the past couple years will make it onto the next album both musically and lyrically. We are hoping to have a new album out by spring of 2011,” Phipps said.

Unearth’s most recent studio album is 2008’s ‘The March’, which Killyourstereo described as “an album littered with highlights and doesn’t have any clear dull moments as it flows extremely well from start to finish.”
