Slipknot bass player Paul Gray was found dead overnight after a staff member discovered the musician's body inside his Iowa hotel room. Early reports from authorities suggest that foul play was not involved, with the real cause of death still unknown. Bigpond News reports the following:“Police say a hotel employee found the 38-year-old Gray dead on Monday in a room at the Town Plaza Hotel in Urbandale, a suburb of Des Moines. Foul play isn't suspected. An autopsy is planned for Tuesday.”Tributes are already pouring in for the deceased bassist from members of the music community."I'm so crushed to hear about the passing of Paul Gray," Shadows Fall singer Brian Fair told MTV News. "He was a great musician, an underrated songwriter and a truly warm soul underneath the evil mask he rocked onstage.”Gray was 38.
