Bleeding Through talk about Jona exit

Whenever a band loses a member, the discussion always seems to centre on the reasoning for the departure with the uninformed often musing that the cause must be attributed to some sort of ‘bad blood’ or animosity. According to Bleeding Through front man Brandan Schieppati, these notions are grossly off the mark – at least in regards to the departure of former guitarist Jona Weinhoffen.

According to Bleeding Through front man Brandan Schieppati, these notions are grossly off the mark – at least in regards to the departure of former guitarist Jona Weinhofen.


Schieppati in a feature interview with UK’s Metal Hammer affirms that Weinhofen’s (now in Bring Me the Horizon) exit from the group was amicable, with no lasting resentment. “I don’t feel jealous of any band,” Schieppati said.

“It’s just a better opportunity for Jona. That band is three times the size we are and it’s fucking awesome for him and they’re great kids, they really are. We’ve known them for a number of years,” he went on to say.
