The Acacia Strain studio video footage

Massachusetts noise merchants The Acacia Strain have posted the first studio update video chronicling the recording of their new album.

The band is currently in Planet Z Studios recording a follow-up to 2008’s ‘Continent’. Consequently, the group have posted a three and a half minute clip entitled, ‘Studio Update #1’, which documents the early stages of production.

"This is not the heaviest record EVER written, but it IS the heaviest ACACIA STRAIN record to date,” vocalist Vincent Bennett told Alt Sounds previously.

Chris ‘Zeuss’ Harris will produce the new album.
