Local heroes and extreme metal band, The Red Shore, have announced a headline tour in April.

Local heroes and extreme metal band, The Red Shore, have announced a headline tour in April.

The run of shows will see the band take a short break from working on their highly anticipated new album, which is currently in the pre production stage.

Supporting The Red Shore will be The Abandonment and Forgiven Rival.

2010 is already shaping up as a good year for The Red Shore with new vocalist Chase Butler joining the ranks as well as the band recently being signed to Roadrunner Records Australia and Premiere Artists booking agency.

Tour dates are as follows:

Friday 23rd April – Extreme Life, Warrnambool VIC (AA)

Saturday 24th April – Evelyn Hotel, Fitzroy VIC (U18)

Sunday 25th April – The Potato Shed, Drysdale VIC (AA) Daytime

Sunday 25th April – Barwon Club Hotel, Geelong VIC (18 ) Nightime

Monday 26th April – Musicman Megastore, Bendigo VIC (AA)

Wednesday 28th April – The Jam Factory, Fyshwick ACT (AA)

Thursday 29th April – The Wall (Formerly Bald Faced Stagg), Leichhardt NSW (AA)

Friday 30th April – Anti @ Ferntree Gully Hotel, VIC (18 )
