Down/Crowbar guitarist joins Suicide War

Kirk Windstein, guitarist for both Down and Crowbar, has announced he will be joining New Orleans hardcore/metal supergroup Suicide War.

The band made this statement via their myspace blog:

"Yes!! It is true.... Kirk [Windstein; Down, Crowbar] will be doing vocal duties alongside Ben in Suicide War. He will also be filling the bass duties, if and when Suicide War plans to do some shows.

In addition to Windstein, the band now features two members of Valume Nob— Frey Thieler on guitar and Sammy Molina on bass — with Black Label Society/ex-Crowbar drummer Craig Nunenmacher and Goatwhore vocalist Ben Falgoust rounding out the mix.
