Horsell Common add new show

Horsell Common’s final shows are coming up later this month, and for a full statement regarding the band’s breakup announcement please read below. Following the announcement, fans and fellow musicians all reacted strongly, showing their support for the final shows in this special bands career. All shows have sold quickly, with Melbourne’s show on 27th March already sold out, and both the Sydney (20th March) and Adelaide (12th March) soon to follow.

Due to popular demand, Horsell Common has announced one more show on Friday, March 26th at The Arthouse Hotel in Melbourne. Supports for the shows will be Melbourne legends Away From Now – who have sold out their last two reunion shows in Melbourne – and The Statics. This will be the 4th and final show of tour.

Many bands who helped shaped Horsell Common’s career have now broken up, but plethora of them have put their hands up to support them one last time. Sydney bands Staying at Home and Sans Chavelle are two such bands, and Adelaide’s The Open Season and Melbourne’s Away From Now were soon to follow. For a full list of supports please see below.

With each ticket purchased to the show, punters will receive a copy of “For Laughter, For Drama” – a collection of all the bands EPs, singles, rare B-Sides and unreleased tracks.

“WE'RE GETTING BACK TOGETHER!

Just so we can break up again. These will be the last shows we ever play together so buy your tickets and come sing along. One show in Adelaide, one in Sydney and one final show in Melbourne. Venues are small so tickets will be limited. We picked these places because we played them a lot early on and they bring back good memories for us.

Apologies if you don't live in any of these cities and feel ripped off, you'll just have to hop a plane if you wanna come to a show. Let us know if there are any songs in particular you want us to play. We need to learn all of our songs again, so going over a few really old songs should be a piece of piss.

It'll be the first time we've played together in 2 years and we're pretty pumped.
