Byron Bay's favourite sons, Parkway Drive, had a huge 2009 and look set to continue the pace in 2010 with the announcement that "The DVD" has gone PLATINUM. Released in August 2009, "The DVD" debuted at number 2 on the ARIA chart, was certified GOLD in just a week and went on to be the highest selling Australian Artist Music DVD of 2009. Currently writing the follow-up to 2007's "Horizons", 2010 is shaping up to be the bands biggest yet. Touring the East Coast of Australia this January and February on the "Sick Summer" Tour, in April the band will return to Europe where they will appear at Belgium's Groezrock Festival as well as playing their largest headline European / UK shows to date before heading back to the USA touring as part of the Vans Warped Tour.
