Nine Inch Nails auctioned off on eBay

Nine Inch Nails are apparently auctioning off tour gear on eBay, after Trent Reznor announced the group's split in September this year.

A large number of instruments and equipment have already appeared on the online auction site, with Reznor promising that "hundreds more will go up".

The band's website featured postings saying that "We've been going through the NIN touring and studio rigs and are getting rid of a large selection of gear and equipment the band is no longer in need of. We do not know which tour these items are from unless specified, nor can we get any items autographed, so please do not ask."

Despite the group going on several hiatuses over the years, and with Reznor being the only "official" member of the group, Reznor has officially stated that this split will indeed be permanent.
