Samsara announce new drummer

Samsara have parted ways with drummer Tim Shearman via mutual agreement. Tim spent 4 years in the Samsara camp, writing and playing on their debut album The Emptiness, as well as many tours around the country. Since joining The Red Shore earlier this year it became apparent that he wouldn't be able to fill the 2 roles to the best of his abilities, as TRS will be very active on the touring circuit supporting their latest release. Samsara needed to focus on the writing of their next record and feel that with the constant absence of Tim, this was going to prove an uphill battle. Samsara would like to thank Tim for all his hard work, friendship and humour over the past 4 years…..you will be missed brother. On another note Samsara would like to welcome Mat Woodhouse to the band. "Woody" joins the band having played in Melbourne punk/hardcore band Face Eater and more recently Geelong thrash/metal band Tenth Dan. Melbourne hardcore band Samsara have announced that the band now has a new drummer.

On another note Samsara would like to welcome Mat Woodhouse to the band. Samsara are currently writing the follow up to 2007's "The Emptiness" and the new album will be the first album to feature the band's new vocalist Nick.
