Murder By Death announce new album

Murder By Death have announced that they will hit the studio next month to record the follow up to 2008's 'Red of Tooth and Claw'.

Apparently singer, Adam Turla, spent two weeks along in the woods of Appalachia where he wrote most of the songs. He explained:

"With this record, we wanted to write a more versatile and manic album, We are going for doomier, more beautiful, even a few songs in major keys (rare for us)... the whole kit-and-caboodle."

The new album is expected to be released sometime mid 2010.
