The Ghost Inside are returning to our shores this December for the 'Schools Out For Summer Tour' with Deez Nuts

When it starts to get warmer and the kids hit the cities and streets in full force it can only mean one thing; schools out and holidays are in! To celebrate this special time of the year Blunt Magazine, New Era, Stomp and Familia Touring join to bring you The Schools Out For Summer Tour featuring Deez Nuts and The Ghost Inside (USA) with more special guests to be announced!

JJ Peters can do whatever he wants...and does. The man who sat behind the tubs in the phenomena that was I Killed The Prom Queen seems to be 'midas touching' anything he puts a hand too. And so came the party that is Deez Nuts.

What started off as a couple of demo's, and what some may have considered a hair-brained idea, has steam rolled its way into the hearts and i pods of a worldwide fan base. The band’s latest release, 'Stay True', hit the shelves and set the record straight for anyone who may not have taken the band seriously before. With the record resonating his commitment and passion with lines like “don’t get it twisted, it's still fucking hardcore” on the title track prove DN’s hardcore roots are still very intact.

DN’s new track "Free Music', now up for free download, is sure to wake up the sleepers with the Deez Nuts sound evolving and JJ sounding hungrier and more passionate than ever blasting out the mantra "This Still Means Something To Me'. If the new joint is anything to go by the current legion of fans are about to be inundated by another group of amazing tracks sure to get them singing and dancing along once again with a new record dropping early next year.

Also joining the tour and making their second trip to our Aussie shores are Los Angeles natives The Ghost Inside. After a successful tour with I Killed the Prom Queen on the Say Goodbye Tour in Aus and several tours in the US and Europe TGI will hit us once again this time with music off their debut album Fury and the Fallen Ones and their upcoming album Returners out in early 2010. With the band described as one that ‘Punches you in the face right from song one, and continues to impress throughout, with very few lapses in-between” from Sputnik Music this band will certainly not disappoint.

The Schools Out For Summer Tour kicks off December 15 in Brisbane to continue all the way down to Adelaide. Tickets on sale October 9th at 9:00am.
