Kings Of Leon are diving into the remix pool with a touched up version of their highly successful album ‘Only By Night’. Remix albums can go either way. Sometimes they work (Bloc Party always seem to pull it off) and other times they come out sounding like ass. Either way the lads in Kings Of Leon are keen to have there tunes tweaked.

Reported earlier this week by Billboard, the remix version of the record will feature a pretty big list of names with Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, Mark Ronson, Lykke Li, and Linkin Park all confirmed as starters for remixing duties. Even more A listers are set to jump on board to tackle the task of re-working one of 2008’s biggest selling albums when the full track listing is revealed later this year.

Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followillis excited about the prospect of working with such a list of talent saying, “It’s neat to have these people who we would’ve jumped at the chance to work with ourselves… coming to us before we even get a chance to ask them. It’s amazing to hear your song played by these people who are so creative. Most of the time it takes me two or three listens to even wrap my head around, ‘Oh man, that’s our song…’”

Keen to see how this turns out!
