As previously reported, Evergreen Terrace drummer Kyle Mims was involved in a bike accident not too long ago and has finally returned home.  His family has issued the following statement:

"Kyle is home and blood clot free at this point. He is now and will be on blood thinners for the next 6 months. He will still need physical therapy but we feel he will in time be back up to par and up on the drum throne. Originally the doctor did not think he would be able to turn his left hand face up. But he is proving them wrong. with each day Kyle is gaining more and more movement to the left arm in general. So that's where we are at this point other than now in debt to the hospitals and doctors for about $100,000. And we can live with that because with that, we truly feel Kyle will make a full recovery. Again we thank everyone for their love, support, their donations, cards and emails."

Meanwhile, Evergreen Terrace's Josh James had the following to say: "Kyle is out of the hospital. He starts physical therapy in two weeks and will be behind the drums before the end of the year. Thanks to all how have sent hope filled emails, expressed their concern or made a donation. It means a lot to Kyle and his family and has really helped him through a very hard time. Caleb [James] from Casey Jones will continue to fill in until Kyle is ready."
