Daft Punk score new Tron film

Tron Legacy is the highly anticipated follow up film to the classic futuristic 80’s flick Tron and is apparently due to hit screens sometime in 2011. Fittingly there will be a couple of robot lords looking after all things music wise for the movie, the helmeted duo- Daft Punk.

 

Rumor has it that Daft Punk have pretty much completed the score for the film and are so proud of their work that they will take it on the road, something which the guys don’t seem to do very often these days. According to movie director Joseph Kosinski “there will definitely be Daft Punk/Tron themed events on the horizon”.

 

Dust off your robot helmets folks, this could be huge! Fingers crossed for a visit to Australia.
