These rowdy Glaswegian’s are known for their dynamically-charged live shows, where their hyper energy, combined with two drumkits and shouty vocals consistently twists the crowd into a frenzy. The ferocious excitement of Dananananaykroyd’s live show was captured for their album debut by an odd match-up between the band and famed metal producer Machine.  The album “Hey Everyone” will be hurtling and thrashing its way to Australia prior to the tour, releasing on July 17.

Joining Dananananaykroyd on stage will be Sydney foursome Regular John armed with their fuzzy melodic rock and psychedelic humour. Regular John have recently caused a lot of heat, earning the honour of triple j’s Album Of The Week with their debut “The Peaceful Atom Is A Bomb.”   The band’s honesty and integrity in their live show is a culmination of two intense years of hard living and hard partying –  the latter of which  they now will bring to the stage with Dananananaykroyd.

Dananananaykroyd have been on a busy touring schedule throughout Europe and the UK, with a serious Summer festival schedule ahead including Reading and Leeds Festivals.  But not before smacking Australia’s shores to introduce us to their self-created genre “fight-pop” and their on stage shenanigans (ranging from a 70’s disco breakdown to a “Wall of Cuddles” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cij4-y0ID8). And if critical acclaim in the UK is anything to go by, Aussies will be screaming for “fight-pop” before they can pronounce the band’s name (Dana-nana-naykroyd).  There is no stopping them, having already completed a hectic support schedule, sharing the stage with the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Foals and The Futureheads and causing a ruckus at 2009’s SxSW.
