South Australia's own Paper Arms have been added as the newest addition the Poison City Records family. After only having released a 4 track demo (which is absolutely killer), the band has gained much attention throughout the country.

As stated by the label themselves:

"Poison City Records is extremely excited to announce the addition of Adelaide's PAPER ARMS to their growing family of bands. With all members spending much of the past decade playing in a variety of punk/ hardcore bands based in South Australia, PAPER ARMS have been quick to find their feet, delivering a sound that is exciting, mature and played with just the right blend of explosive melody and angst. Having recently released a well received 4 track demo EP, PAPER ARMS are currently working on material for their debut album, set for release on Poison City late in 2009."

"Paper Arms was born out of a hunger for music that meant something. To try to rise above a culture based on image, and return to a time when the music, the message and the friends you shared it with were the only reason you played it. An honest, raw and mature take on punk rock roots, is the culmination of over a decade in punk and hardcore bands, yet it’s never felt this good before. Sing along till your throat bleeds, and soothe it with a beer with us afterwards

- Paper Arms."
