Blink 182 talk about new album

Blink 182 have begun writing material for their long awaited new album, but don't however plan on having it finished before their reunion tour in the U.S later this year. Vocalist/bass player Mark Hoppus told Billboard.com, "We started writing a few months ago and got well into the writing process, but now we've kind of put the recording of the next album on hold and are doing rehearsals for the upcoming tour." Hoppus has been busy doing some producing lately, including the new major label debut for Motion City Soundtrack. Blink have also hinted at taking MCS onb the road with them for theur reunion tour.

Although Hoppus has been a very busy man lately, he said "I felt like I had a couple of years to kind of relax, and I love those years, but there's a lot going on right now and it's a lot of fun."
