Against Me! to release EP

Against Me! have revealed that they will release an EP via Fat Wreck Chords titled 'The Original Cowboy'. The new EP will feature 8 previously unreleased tracks from the recording session of the bands classic 2003 album 'The Eternal Cowboy'.

Against Me! frontman Tom Gabel explained the prupose behind the idea via the Fat Wreck site...

"Having already recorded our first full length album and two previous EPs with Rob [McGregor] at Goldentone, we wanted to do something different for our second full length. We specifically wanted to make an all-analog recording with as few overdubs as possible. We wanted to make sure Rob was familiar with the songs, so we made this demo recording. The Original Cowboy was only meant to be a trial run, but, listening to it today, there's a part of me that feels foolish for ever recording these songs a second time."
