Billy Talent to release new album

Canadian punk band Billy Talent will release their 3rd album in June, which is being produced by Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, AC/DC and Rage Against The Machine).

The band recently spoke to Triple J about working with such a legendary producer, among other things...

"We got to record in the same room that Battle Of Las Angelas was made in. And Evil Empire. Audioslave, Incubus. It's just amazing to be in that same room. There's a mysticism to the place as well because it was Charlie Chaplin first bought it and used it as where he did all his silent films and then Jim Hensen bought it over and that's where they did all the Muppets. And so still we were in one studio and you walk outside and there's the Muppet making factory. You look inside and there's Muppets on the table and people making them all together and there's shows for kids so it's very magical."
