The potent and isolated WA music scene, which spawned renowned acts including Gyroscope, Birds Of Tokyo, Little Birdy and Eskimo Joe, has nursed the musical development of Elora Danan. The result is ‘In The Room Up There’ - an 11-track album produced locally by Birds Of Tokyo guitarist / producer Adam Spark.

Elora Danan exploded onto the scene with their 2007 EP ‘We All Have Secrets’ and immediately began their national domination, impressing crowds as part of the Boomtown Showdown tour and a support slot alongside The Getaway Plan.

‘In The Room Up There’ already boasts the success of ‘Door, Up, Elevator’. The first single from the album received an amazing response from old and new fans alike, and gave the band Triple J support with consistent national radio airplay. Elora Danan create a thinker’s music, and their album is set to reinvent what people will consider the limits of melodic rock in Australia. ‘In The Room Up There’ is a cinematic rollercoaster of relatable and inspiring rock. Keep an ear out for second single, ‘The Greater Good’, throughout February.
