The Used finishing off new album

The Used will begin mixing their new album next month. The band posted the following update:

"So we're going to start doing our blog here at theused.net rather then at our blog spot. The reason for that? It's easier for us and we want to be as involved with our website as much as we are with our myspace (which is a shitload). Anyway, I'm back home in Utah just hangin out with my dogs and family until I go back to California in February to start mixing the record. I'm so excited to get back and get this record finished so we can show you crackers this shit. Before I was in The Used I was a huge fan of theirs and I loved all of the albums in different ways, so what I'm trying to say is I think that this record is going to be just as good if not better than any of The Used albums. I listen to the older stuff and to the new stuff everyday and I get the chills listening to this new record just like I did the first time I heard The Used. I'm so grateful to be a part of this band........"

The Used last released 'Lies For The Liars' in 2007.
