"So as of right now, Dave Heck is no longer playing rhythm guitar for Reign Supreme. I want to make it known that there is NO animosity between us and Dave, and that it is not something that needs to be turned into internet scandal. Basically, what it boils down to is that Dave has some things he needs to take care of in his personal life that affect his status in the band, and that we feel accordingly like it's in our best interest to find a different guitar player who will fit the band and allow us to pursue our goals in the touring and recording realms.

Deathwish Inc/Malfunction Records band Reign Supreme have posted a blog on their myspace page about the departure of their guitarist Dave Heck.

Again, there is no beef or anything stupid like that.

Dave will be playing his last show DEC 20TH at the Champ, so come out and support a good member of Supreme team who will be moving on.

As of right now, Mike Rich from Advent will be playing guitar for Reign Supreme on the upcoming Full Blown Chaos/Trapped Under Ice/Reign Supreme/Dirty Money full US tour. If all goes well, Mike may become a permanent member of the band.

So we are sad to let go of a good friend, and someone who kept the band always fun and unpredictable. But we are also happy to welcome a new friend who we hope will add to our aural assault and keep us going."
