Featuring the FReeZA Push Start Band Comp Grand Final, Push Over 2009 will showcase the talented winners of Victoria’s nine regional finalists throughout the day. Past winners have become a staple in Melbourne’s music scene, and 2009’s winner will be no exception.
Push Over isn’t just famous for its guitar-driven acts though – the Push It! Hip Hop Arena will be back in full force featuring Funkoars, Labjacd, Pez & Polo Club.
The Abbotsford Convent is a beautifully unique venue in a prime location right near Victoria Park station, just five stops from Flinders Street station on the Epping and Hurstbridge lines. The Push will be providing a free shuttle bus to and from Victoria Park station every fifteen minutes so that punters can get to and from the venue quickly, easily and safely.
Presented by all ages music organisation The Push, Push Over 2009 is an all ages, fully supervised event with no pass-outs. In its 17th year, Push Over continues its tradition of being a drug, alcohol and smoke-free event in 2009. With music, amusements, artist signings, market stalls, food to suit everybody’s tastes and preferences and the fantastic $30 ticket price, Push Over 2009 is a no-brainer for all young Victorians who love their music.
