Official Press Release:

Electrifying and charismatic Epitaph newcomers Sing It Loud, a band that had barely played outside of hometown Minneapolis until a few months ago, must be feeling pretty good about their 30,000 myspace friends, and their 30,000 plus tracks sold on iTunes. Formed in April, 2007 they recorded a self-released EP that came to the attention of Minneapolis native Josh Cain of Motion City Soundtrack, and soon after Epitaph’s Brett Gurewitz was flying out to check out a live show. Following in the footsteps of bands like The Maine, the band decided to quickly release a digital EP in April 2008 with Epitaph. Since then it’s all been moving so fast – a breakout tour with We the Kings, recording their debut album for Epitaph, and a major U.S tour.  For a band at the very beginning of their career, to be offered a coveted opening slot on this fall’s Cobra Starship tour before even releasing their debut album is a major coup.  But that’s the way things have been falling for Sing It Loud, as they build a massive buzz across the country with their blissfully contagious brand of pop rock, and more and more kids come around to Sing It Loud.
