Bury Your Dead have replaced guitarist Eric Ellis. The band posted the following press release:

"Durability is often the key to a band's longevity, and where

Massachusetts's metalcore high rollers Bury Your Dead is concerned,

there's no exception. Speculation surrounding the longstanding hiatus

of guitarist Eric Ellis has been accumulating since winter and topped

out once longtime friend and (for some) former bandmate, Chris Towning,

began appearing in Ellis' place at shows in late March. Soon after, the

reformed lineup quickly established a positive working atmosphere and

are now fully acknowledging Ellis's removal from his duties due to

'medical reasons and personality differences.'

"'When a person's

attitude and lifestyle change for the worse, there comes a time to let

go and move on. A team is only as strong as its weakest link.' This

goodbye solidified Towning's permanent position in the band. 'They were

always one of my favorite bands to begin with, and we had been friends

for awhile through bands and stuff. I'm here to have fun," Chris says.

'I think that's really what this band is about.'"
