Nestled in the shadow of Phoenix, the town's conservative climate doesn't exactly foster creativity. Scary Kids Scaring Kids were inspired to rebel against this and emerged from the desolate dustbowl in 2002 with a scathing intensity unmatched by the vast majority of their peers.
