CLOSURE IN MOSCOW SIGN AMERICAN RECORD DEAL
Only days into what will be their biggest national tour yet with
heavyweights The Getaway Plan, Taperjean Records are proud to announce
that
CLOSURE IN MOSCOW has signed a lucrative record deal with American based Science Records.
With only 2 years and one release behind them, this achievement comes as
no surprise to those who have witnessed the “harmonious live experience”

(Beat Magazine) that is a CLOSURE IN MOSCOW show, nor anyone who has heard
the band’s debut albumette, The Penance and the Patience, which debuted at
No. 13 on the Australian Independent Album Charts and has seen the band
described as everything from avant-garde to hard-rock to pop.
Orange County based label Science Records approached CLOSURE IN
MOSCOW within weeks of their release, with label reps flying out to see
the
band perform to a sold out crowd.
Science Records’ Ryan Whalley says of the signing;
"We're extremely happy and excited to have Closure In Moscow join the
Science Records family. Taking on an international artist is a big task,
but after seeing and getting to know them we are very confident about
their
music and their dedication as artists. They present a refreshing musical
sound and we're excited to bring them to the U.S.”
CLOSURE IN MOSCOW will be completing one final run of dates throughout
Australia after their tour with The Getaway Plan wraps. This will be their
last Australian Shows for 2008 before they head over to the USA to write,
record and Tour.
