hot off the back of their hugely successful single tour throughout

April/May, hometown heroes IN FICTION will be headlining a one off show

at The Gov on Saturday 14 June to launch their breakthrough debut

album, ‘The Forecast’. 

With the first single ‘Liar

Liar’ at radio along with an accompanying film clip, ‘The Forecast’ is

set to propel IN FICTION into the forefront and stake their claim as

one of Australia’s most promising acts. In support on the night will be

fellow Adelaide-ians The Hot Lies, Melbourne troublemakers Stealing

O’Neal, local rock gods Dangerous and up-and-comers Delamare.

melodic rockers IN FICTION burst onto the Australian music scene last

March with the release of their ‘Ghost’ EP and it’s well recognized and

extremely catchy single ‘If You’re Up Late’. Long heralded as

“Adelaide’s best kept secret”, the band finally clued in the rest of

the nation with extensive national tours in support of The Matches,

Kisschasy, Behind Crimson Eyes and The Getaway Plan.

In

December 2007, IN FICTION settled down to record with long-time friend

and producer Darren Thompson. The result is ‘The Forecast’, a 12-track

rock/pop masterpiece and the band’s debut full-length. The album will

be released on June 7 through Boomtown Records. Pre-ordered ‘The
