Not content with their status as the most awe-inspiring phenomenon

Australian heavy music has yet seen, PARKWAY DRIVE have  begun to make

vast inroads overseas, selling out the majority of dates on their

latest European headlining tour, with extra shows added in several

countries to cope with ravenous fan demand.

Unleashed last October, PARKWAY DRIVE’s second full-length album

“Horizons” solidified the group’s reputation as an unparalleled force

in local hardcore and metal – a Top 6 ARIA berth, two sold-out national

tours and tens of thousands of satisfied punters will firmly attest to

that. Now the Byron Bay behemoth are stepping it up on the world stage.

Already respected as hardened road warriors, the PARKWAY juggernaut has

not stopped rolling since “Horizons” hit stores. Keeping the home fires

burning with the two aforementioned local tours, the five-piece have

focused a large amount of their efforts abroad, enhancing their

underground rep with each successive global circumnavigation.

This January saw PARKWAY DRIVE embark on their most successful foray

into North America thus far, supporting  scene kings Killswitch Engage

across the US, while their more recent bombardment of Russia, Finland,

Spain, Greece, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Austria and the UK saw their

snowballing popularity in the region escalate into a full-blown

avalanche. Headlining over US acts Bury Your Dead and Suicide Silence,

they sold-out many venues in advance, with demand for tickets strong

enough in Germany, Austria and England to warrant several additional

dates.

Having completed their European engagements rubbing shoulders with the

likes of Bad Religion, Story Of The Year, Face To Face and Sick Of It

All at Belgium’s Groezrock Festival on May 10, the triumphant

five-piece are now gearing up for yet another Aussie assault in June.

Ably supported by Boston’s Have Heart, New Zealand’s Antagonist and

Perth’s Break Even, PARKWAY DRIVE will storm the nation’s capital

cities for what is set to be a homecoming of truly apocalyptic

proportions. Brace yourself – this phenomenon is about to get a whole

 lot more phenomenal.
